This is a vintage 1950s era handbag purse featuring a tapestry scene of a Colonial era couple in their garden - the woman appears to be filling her basket with flowers.  The scene appears both on the front and on the back while flowers appear on the sides, bottom and handle.  The handle is made of fabric.  The purse is made in a large square shape with a silver-toned metal clasp and top frame.  The interior has a zippered compartment and an open compartment built onto one side.  It is lined in vinyl.

Sizing:  The purse measures 12 3/4” wide by 10 1/2” high by 2 3/4” deep at its bottom.  The handle has a “fall” of 7 1/2”.

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear or tear or staining - this purse doesn’t look to have seen much use.
